Eco-Inspire: Interactive Author Session
Meru International School hosted Eco-Inspire, an engaging and thought-provoking session for Grade 7 students, led by bestselling author, TEDx speaker, and wildlife photographer Mr. Ishan Shanavas. Rooted in his acclaimed book The Light of Wilder Things, the session offered students a vivid glimpse into India’s wild spaces, blending storytelling, powerful visuals, and real-life encounters with nature. Through captivating tales of tigers, leopards, and king cobras, Ishan transported students into the heart of wildlife conservation—emphasizing the urgent need to view nature not just as a resource, but as a shared home. His engaging narration and striking wildlife photography helped build a deep emotional connection with the environment, encouraging students to reflect on their own role in sustainability and conservation.
