Student-Led Parent-Teacher Meeting
At Meru International School, we believe in empowering students to take ownership of their learning journey. The Student-Led Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for the Secondary segment empowered learners to take the lead in reflecting on their academic journey. Students presented their academic progress through curated portfolios, showcasing key achievements, learnings, and areas identified for growth. This interactive platform allowed parents and teachers to step into a more collaborative role—engaging in thoughtful discussions with the student and co-creating goals for the upcoming term. For students with pending tasks, clear action plans were drawn up to support timely work completion. The PTM also provided space for any additional discussions that teachers or parents wished to address, making it a comprehensive and student-centered review process.
This initiative underscored Meru’s commitment to nurturing confident, reflective, and responsible learners
