Meru JMUN 2025: Empowering Young Voices for a Global Tomorrow
The second edition of Meru JMUN, hosted on July 18th and 19th, 2025, at Meru International School – Tellapur campus, brought together over 300 delegates from Meru and other leading schools for two days of thought-provoking deliberations, diplomacy, and youth leadership.
Inaugurated by the school’s Founder, Ms. Meghana Gorukanti Jupally, and graced by Chief Guest Mr. Nawab Syed Algazi, Consul General and Special Presidential Envoy to India and SAARC Countries, the event featured nine engaging committees including WHO, UNICEF, UNSC, Lok Sabha, and creative simulations like the Ministry of Magic and FC-Marvel. Delegates tackled pressing global and national issues — from healthcare and conflict to freedom of expression — while exercising critical thinking, collaboration, and empathy.
The event reflected Meru’s commitment to nurturing globally aware, solution-oriented leaders. With powerful speeches, well-researched debates, and a dynamic closing ceremony, Meru JMUN 2025 stood as a powerful platform for students to voice ideas that can shape a better tomorrow
