Meru Summer Challenge 2024: A Weekend of Sports, Spirit, and Community at Tellapur

Meru International School, in collaboration with the Tellapur Neighbourhood Association (TeNA), hosted the Meru Summer Challenge 2024 at its Tellapur campus on May 31st and June 1st, bringing together young athletes, families, and the local community for a vibrant weekend of sports and camaraderie.

The two-day event witnessed an overwhelming response, with 40 teams and over 400 enthusiastic participants competing in a range of sporting challenges. The competitions included U-10 and U-12 Boys Football, as well as U-10 and U-12 Girls Basketball, showcasing the energy, teamwork, and dedication of budding sports stars.

Adding to the credibility of the event, referees from the Telangana Football Association and the Basketball Federation of India officiated the matches, ensuring a professional and fair play environment throughout.

The event culminated with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where winners and runners-up were honoured with medals and trophies, celebrating their hard work, skill, and team spirit. The recognition was a proud moment for the participants and their supporters, reinforcing the value of perseverance and sportsmanship.c
